Stencil Layering and Erin Lee Creative October Release Blog hop!

Well, hello there! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, and your last stop on the Erin Lee Creative October Release Blog Hop + Giveaway!

To celebrate this release we are giving away three $25 gift codes to three lucky winners chosen from comments left across all of the blogs participating in this hop (3 total winners, 3 $25 gift codes). Please leave a comment on any participating blog by October 11, 2019. Three winners will be announced the following week on the Erin Lee Creative Blog. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

Here is the design I created:

I first started with the Eyelash Stencil sprayed with Pixie spray (a light tack, removable adhesive). I love using this spray with my stencils because it helps me get a crisp design from the stencil.
I then used the stencil with Distress Oxide Ink in Spun Sugar, then repositioned the stencil then applied Distress Oxide Ink in Picked Raspberry.

Next, I positioned the Face Stencil slightly off center and off the page (just to add some more interest!). I used Versafine Onxy Black ink with this stencil. I noticed the ink didn't completely cover the Oxide, so I did go over everything with a black Sharpie pen to get a really dark image.

The sentiment comes from the Babe Stamp set (which I love!), and I fussy cut it out, then cut a slightly larger outline from Holographic Cardstock (isn't that so cool?!)

Lastly I added just big of silver thread to pull it all together!

Thanks so much for stopping by! And be sure to check out the new Erin Lee Creative October release!

Koko Unicorn handmade card featuring Erin Lee Creative and Deco Foil Rainbow Shattered Glass

So you know I make a lot of cards, and I like to try different card making styles from time to time. But one thing I am consistently drawn to is bright colors and shiny foil! And this card has them both! For this card I used the Koko Unicorn Stamp Set and paired it with the Wonky Plaid Stencil by Erin Lee Creative. I used the stencil to create this gorgeous shiny background with Deco Foil Transfer Gel and Rainbow Shattered Glass Transfer Sheets. I am just so in love with how this card turned out!

I like you a latte! A colored pencil card featuring Tiddly Inks

Hello friends! It's Tiddly Inks Tuesday, and today I'm sharing the birthday card I made for my sister. I know it doesn't look a traditional birthday card, but I did that intentionally because I wanted to create something super special for her! I colored this Thanks a Latte digital stamp by Tiddly Inks which feature these two adorable girls sitting down for a cup of coffee together. When I saw this image, I immediately thought of my sister and I, and I colored it as such!

Great News Panda featuring La-La Land Crafts

Hi! Welcome (or welcome back!) to my blog! I'm happy you're here because I'm sharing a really fun card that features the Great News stamp set by La-La Land Crafts. This was a limited time stamp set for their December 2018 club kit. These adorable little pandas are playing the Telephone game (remember that from grade school?!), and they're really excited to find out that a friend of mine is expecting her first baby! So, although a little nontraditional as a "Congrats, baby!" card, I think she's really gonna like it!

Holy Cow! featuring stamps and dies by Erin Lee Creative

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by! Today I'm sharing a really fun card that features the Holy Cow stamp set and Woodland die set by Erin Lee Creative. There is so much going on in this card - which I love - but, the main thing I wanted to showcase was the use of stand-alone die cuts as silhouette images against a colorful background.

Feeling Souper! Another card featuring the new Get Well Soon release by High Hopes Rubber Stamps

Hello friends and fellow High Hope Rubber stampers! I've been having so much fun playing with the stamps from the newest Get Well Soon release. Check out the last two cards I made by clicking either HERE or HERE. Today's card completes my set of three coordinating cards, this one featuring the Chicken Soup and Feel Souper stamps from High Hopes.

I really didn't start out with the intention on making a card set. Like I had mentioned in my last video, I usually never make the same card twice (I get bored too quickly!), but coordinating card sets have opened up a whole new world for me! I get the chance to create multiple cards, but get to do something a little different each time. And I love that!

The red polka dot background I actually had just laying around in my stash. I had stamped and die cut this background for a different project, but ended up not using it for that one, so I just tucked it away. And it just so happened that it was perfect for this card!

I incorporated some elements from the two previous cards (like the striped patterned paper, lacey, scalloped circle, and ribbon). This helps tie the three cards together. And I'm just so happy with how they turned out!

Thank you so much for stopping by! There are many more adorable stamps in the Get Well Soon release that I haven't had a chance yet to play with. Be sure to check them out and pick up your favorites. Enjoy the rest of your day, and I'll see you soon!

Nurse Kitty - This Won't Hurt A Bit featuring High Hopes Rubber Stamps

Hello! I hope you're doing well! Today I'm sharing a card made very much in the same vein as another card I shared earlier this week. I was so smitten with the colors and the different elements I used that I wanted to recreate it, but with a little twist (cuz you know I never make the same card twice)! This card features the Nurse Kitty and Won't Hurt stamps from the newest release - Get Well Soon - by High Hopes Rubber Stamps.
